FSJ Chamber news and updates

August has been a month of planning with a lot of exciting events coming up, and more to announce once plans are finalized.

The Executive Director has started Business Walks. The first was in Fort St. John accompanied by Mayor Hansen, Russ Beerling with Community Futures and Stephanie Peters with Economic Development for the City of Fort St. John. On these visits we like to ask how your business is doing, if you have any upcoming plans, find out if you have any struggles or concerns, and where you could use some support. We provide you with some resources that could help your business, and check out what your business offers. If you would like us to visit your business, send an email to Tiffany at Admin@fsjchamber.com.

Elections for the Chamber Directors occurs in the fall. An outline of what is entailed and criteria will be included in the nominations package and announcement. We will have multiple seats open on the board so now is the time to start thinking if you want to run. Keep an eye out for the announcement of elections!
